Two more showings for The Dam Busters next week

I know it’s unlikely that anyone reading this blog has never seen Michael Anderson’s 1955 film The Dam Busters. But if you haven’t – or if you just want to watch it again – you have two more chances this week, on the UK channel Film Four. Tomorrow, Monday 20 July at 4.35pm or Friday 24 July at 1.25pm. “Stand by to pull me out of the seat if I get hit.”

Or you could simply order the DVD or BluRay from Amazon and watch it as many times as you like.

I hope they don’t bleep out [Content removed by moderator]’s name or the code word for the breach of the Mūhne Dam. I think what RAF Scampton have done is unjustifiable…

They did .. or dubbed in “old boy” or just “boy”.

Very sad but with the current strength of feeling on the subject, understandable.

Many thanks for that helpful bit of info. Surely there’s EVERY reason for watching our favourite film once again, even if we all bore our families rigid with our rendition of EVERY line throughout the film!! Thanks again for that wonderful bit of news!!
