This was promised a few months ago, and will be aired on Monday – but only on BBC Yorkshire and East Midlands. The programme blurb says it ‘sheds new light on the story’ as Martin Shaw separates the facts from the myth. We wait and see what this might be.

Hmmmm, ‘sheds new light’ – more like an opportunity missed. How can a 30 minute programme do this topic justice? I watched keenly and whilst it wasn’t a poor programme by any means, it didn’t tell me, or anyone that is interested in Operation Chastise anything new. Glad that my licence fee gets Martin Shaw up in the BBMF Lanc though…
The BBC are currently showing a 1 hour version of the programme. Nice to see Johnnie again. He’s such a lovely, modest guy.
