What an emotional docu. I know so much about Wallis and the Dams raid, yet so little (if that makes sense).

I've studied Barnes Wallis and the Dambusters since the late 70's, encouraged by my late father who served with Coastal Command 43-45, and have had access to the Wallis family (one member). Doesen't matter how many books you read and vets you meet (the latter were Brooklands employees), nothing gets close to seeing something like 'Jonny' George Johnson revisiting the dam he tried to destroy. God bless you and all the others on that raid, and all other veterans who sacrificed so much for our liberty.

Thanks for posting this connection. I was tipped off by a friend in Australia, together with whom, in my teens, I was awed by the dams raid as portrayed in the movie starring Richard Todd. I've often wondered whether the crash site of Guy Gibson's aircraft, shot down in 1944 reportedly near Muenchen Gladbach, ( close to the Dutch border ?) has ever been located.
